The St. Elizabeth School of Nursing held its annual recognition ceremony on Oct. 14. The ceremony was held to celebrate the progress student nurses have made in their nursing studies. During the ceremony female students receive a cap and male students receive a pin.
Although the nursing cap is rarely worn by registered nurses in today's practice, it is still one of the most recognized symbols of nursing. The cap’s original purpose was to keep the nurse’s hair neatly in place and present a modest appearance.
St. Elizabeth School of Nursing is hosting an information day to answer questions about student financial aid, student health, admissions and curriculum planning. Current students will be available to answer questions about activities and life at our school. Tours will be available.
